Technology treatment for Lucia Kannada Movie

For last so many months we all have spoken so much about this astonishing movie, but one thing about this movie has obscured itself from the discussions. What it is? Yes, you guessed right, it’s the intensity to which the Technology has been imparted in this project, from movie making to movie branding to movie watching..!!! The reason what I feel for it getting oblivious to us is because of ourselves embedded to the technology in our daily lives.

Movie Making – This concept of crowd funding for the movie can be attributed to technology because of the ease Pawan Kumar reached out to his future producers. It’s not just one or two producers, but 110 of them. Blogging and Social Media helped Pawan Kumar attain the target within 27 days. His web page saw 30,000 visitors in the same month.

Probably, for the first time in a Kannada film history a 5D camera was used. Surprisingly, these cameras were mounted on various movable platforms, such as Helmets, Shoulder platforms, waterproof platforms etc in order to reduce bring down the costs.

Movie Branding – We all know that how Pawan kumar adhered to Social Media and Online Distribution platforms such as Distrify to reach out to crowd distributors. This would ideally help people and fans to make money from online distributions. Has it been done for any other Kannada or Indian Language movies ever, Nope…Its a first for Lucia…!!! A True Winner

Movie Watching – Pay and Watch Kannada Lucia Movie Online without any guilt through Lucia Online Streaming. Also, use of Social Networking Technologies to allow online distributors contribute to movie watching, thus the popularity of the movie and thus the Kannada Movie Industry
