Applications In Air

Air applications are everywhere we breathe. No one wants to breathe air contaminants with mold, bacteria, gases or odors. The following is a summary of successful applications of our PHI technology for air purification.

Homes - Reduces cooking, bathroom and pet odors. Also reduces airborne

Nursing Homes - mole and bacteria. Tests average 85% microbial reduction.

Cars - Campers - RVs' - Reduces smoking or old, stale car odor and airborne microbial contamination. Used by all major car rental agencies.

Boats - Same as homes and cars. Also excellent for maintaining mold, mildew and holding tank odor control on air conditioned or unairconditioned boats.

Restaurants - Restaurants use commercial systems for major cleaning or nightly purges of bacteria, mold and cooking odors during unoccupied periods. Also continuous systems in the kitchen, restroom and dining/bar areas.

Public Buildings/Offices - Commercial systems are routinely used to provide disinfection during unoccupied periods. HVAC systems are often used to provide continuous protection against sick building syndrome.

Restoration Companies - Professional flood and fire restoration companies have used ozone for many years to disinfect and deodorize buildings. They use high output commercial units for unoccupied disinfection and often sell smaller occupied or HVAC systems for ongoing protection.

Dentists and Physicians - Dentists and physicians often use commercial units to disinfect at night when the office is unoccupied. During the day, they use a residential unit for daily microbial and odor control.

Morgues & Coroners' Offices - Use heavy-duty units to control odors and airborne bacteria.

Veterinarians - Use heavy-duty or commercial units for their operating room due to the heavy airborne bacteria load associated with many animals.

Real Estate Companies - The old theory of bake an apple pie to sell a house is no longer valid. A house with no odor is far superior to a house with a scent. Real Estate professionals use both commercial and residential units for the elimination of stale house odor.

Carpet Companies - Often use commercial units to reduce the new carpet odors resulting from the VOC in the carpet glues. Carpet installers will offer the service as an after-market sale.

Fire Department - Will provide commercial unit to clean up smoke odors immediately after a fire.

Fitness Centers - Workout rooms tend to be high humidity due to showers and perspiration. Commercial units work well at night for disinfection during unoccupied periods and room units work well during working hours as an air maintenance device.

Hair and Nail Salons - Salons have high odor levels of chemicals (VOC's). During operation hours, residential units can reduce the VOC's.

Laundries - To reduce airborne odors, bacteria and molds, many laundries, for many years, have utilized ozone rooms for smoky clothing. Dry cleaning will not remove smoke, so the clothes are ozonated first. Also, commercial laundries are utilizing systems on clothes dryers to reduce fabric odors and bacteria.

Food Stores - To reduce food odors during shopping hours and heavy-duty units are used during unoccupied hours to provide bacteria reduction and prolong food life.

Waste Management - Garbage dumpsters, apartment trash shoots, trash compactors. Many use industrial units to reduce airborne odors and bacteria.

This section could go on indefinitely. The concept is an advanced oxidation system can be very effective whenever air has excessive airborne odors, bacteria or molds. The reductions will be the greatest in applications where the contaminants are the strongest. Areas that have severe problem areas should be treated by removing the odor, mold or bacteria-causing problem first. Then using a commercial system to provide initial uninhabited disinfection, followed by a residential unit for ongoing disinfection.
