Facebook is a website for social networking. It was launched in February 2004, and is privately owned. it has grown tremendously through attaining many active users. Like any other website, for a person to be a Facebook member, one must register, after which a personal account is created, other users are added as friends .user exchange messages ,this includes the automatic notifications. Since it started operating, Facebook has acquired 800 million active users.

Since Facebook has acquired many user work places have become chatting places via Facebook and even schools other institution. This has greatly contributed to the blockage of Facebook or it maybe for some security reasons. The country may also decide to block due political, religious or cultural reasons. However whether those are the reasons behind the blocking one can still access the website. There are several ways that have been established on how to unblock Facebook.


Using an IP address, ensuring that you do not type the usual Facebook address.

Use the web proxies. These are web servers that act as mediators, between you and the website, you will never get through the page you are connected through the server. At times there are proxies that are easily blocked especially the ones that are new.

Use translator sites; sites like Google or Babel fish, the translator sites mostly work well in schools whose websites have been blocked
Several factors may contribute to the blockage of websites. This mostly happens in schools or in other areas that they are prohibited. The free online services allow the access of the websites through the proxy, this acts as an intermediary between the user and the server. Several ways however, have established to unblock websites.
